Great Technology
I am learning so much in this class. I was familiar with several of the technology terms, but I did not quite understand the great benefits that these programs can add to a professional learning community. Technology can increase communication between parents and teachers, but the best part is using these programs is simple(once you get the hang of it.) I will share more after I have researched more programs!

I'm soooooooooooooooo glad you're learning as well :)How do you like the Bengal print?
ReplyDeleteHi, I am so glad you're learning so much in your class. I can't wait for you to share the information with me. We have just got a Blog set up at our school so our parents and teachers can contact our Superintendent. I don't fully understand it but I know the more we use something the more we get use to it. I can't wait for you to share with us about your research but until then I pray you will have a successful and very productive class.
ReplyDeleteCrystal,
ReplyDeleteI am eager to learn more about this technology class and its benefits for educators. I'll be waiting to hear from you.

I would have never thought of using blogging as a teaching resource. A lot of parents do use internet at work and at home, and this could greatly open that gap between parent-school communication. I am interested in learning more about the use of technology in the classroom as you continue to research.
ReplyDeletewhich technology do you like the best that you have learned? I have found the blogs super easy! Have you looked into Wikis yet? They seem to be super fun!
ReplyDeleteWow! I have heard a lot about blogging and it seems like a neat way to keep in touch. Crystal, you will have to show me how to do this when you finish your class.
ReplyDeleteI think that I love blogging because I love talking! Bethany, I did look into Wikis. Love it! I think that it is so cool to be able to work collaboratively on a document without having to e-mail it back and forth. I am thinking about telling Mr. Easley about it. A Wiki would have been very useful this summer when we were helping with SMARTboard grants!
ReplyDeleteMarcie, I do not like the Bengal print. In fact, I have a pen that I need to give to you because it reminds me of Bassett...Do you like blogging?
ReplyDeleteCrystal,
ReplyDeleteI am proud of you and I am looking forward to you sharing some of what you have learned with me.
Hello Crystal,
ReplyDeleteYou know that our students are already ahead of us when it comes to the tech world, so I guess we had better learn all we can. Looking forward to you sharing with your fellow educators.
Kathy
Blogging is becoming more and more popular. I think this is something that the kids along with their parents would enjoy doing. Now we have to learn!
